Ok let me start off by saying i’m not even done listening to this episode yet but I need to chime in here. I work in the fashion industry. I don’t work part time, I am not some stupid ghetto promoter. I LIVE, WORK, & PAY MY BILLS knowing fashion. If I don’t know what im talking about I won’t have a job.
With that said I think DjTimmay was a little hard on the Ugg wearing population but i’m so glad he brought this up. Uggs are terribly ugly! Ladies there is no arguing this. Ugg boots are and will go down as one of the biggest fashion plunders of our life time. Now I know what you’re saying how can they be so bad and be so popular. Smoking is extremely popular and its a terrible white trash habit. But seriously, The Ugg thing started with a few celebs trying to be unique and show thetabloids that they don’t care how they look in public. They don’t care if you film them and they look like shit. Before we knew it they had started a fad with the high school girls which eventually spilled over into you older ladies.
Ugg boots are so ugly in fact they have become cute to some people. Kind of like a pug dog or a new born baby.
Now before I get torn a part please listen. I admit I own a pair of Ugg Boots (actually two), I also admit that I bought them because they became main stream and I wanted to feel like I fit in. I’ll also admit that I am not leaving my name because I don’t want to deal with all the crap this is going to spark up. Its time we fess up and admit the fact these boots are ugly, girl and even some guys all look just plain ridiculous. In a few years many of you will look back and laugh at yourself in those pictures and questions what you could have possibly been thinking wearing those in public.
If you don’t care that you look funny wearing them. More power to you girl! Not everybody has to be in heels and dressed up every where we go. But dressing like a slob in public is not “IN.” I bought mine to try and be fashionable and now I just look like every other person trying to dress down to look cool. My Uggs are for taking out the garbage, getting my news paper and walking my dog in the winter. The other pair is for sweeping the floor. Calf high slippers are not fashionable ladies..
